The Trifecta conference room was packed with leaders in research, medicine and industry to discuss the topic of Big Data. It is apparent that there is an overall desire for high quality research, improved communication with recipients of care and improved health outcomes. A quote repeated several times is- “the highest quality care will be the lowest cost”
Many of the challenges of working with big data was briefly discussed. This was a rare opportunity for researchers, computer scientists, doctors, and industry providers could meet and talk about the potential of big data, especially in health care.
